Mid-Texas Symphony presents | Promise of America

A concert full of beauty, optimism, and the American spirit! William Grant Still’s Wood Notes paints a musical picture of the natural world, followed by Barber’s gorgeous and expressive Violin Concerto. We end with Copland’s Appalachian Spring, a heartwarming and hopeful tribute to new beginnings, capturing the promise of a young pioneer couple starting their life together.
